Qualified Charitable Distribution/IRA Charitable Rollover

How it works:

If you are 70 1/2 or older, contact your IRA plan administrator to make a charitable gift directly to STEP from your IRA.

Benefits:

• Avoid taxes on transfers of up to $105,000 from your IRA to STEP

• Counts towards your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year

• Reduces your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions

• Is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts
